Mrs. Lauren Woods, one of the technology and engineering teachers at PHS, is a 1st Lieutenant in the National Guard and was deployed to the Middle East with the 44th IBCT.
Mrs. Woods presented Dr. Bernie Kepler and Dr. Scott Richardson a flag that she flew while deployed to Iraq, as a thank you to them, the whole administrative team and the staff, for their continued support before, during, and after her deployment.
Mrs. Woods was out of the country for just under 11 months and away from the school for over a year and is so happy to be back with her PHS family.
We are so proud of Mrs. Woods and so appreciative of her commitment to PHS and to the armed forces!
